What is Fraternus?
Fraternus is more than a Youth Ministry Program. Fraternus is focused on providing a Brotherhood of faithful, devoted, Catholic Men of all ages who strive to live a life of Authentic Catholic Masculinity. Fraternus is a Brotherhood for all. Whether you start at the very beginning in 6th grade, join in High School, come back in College, are a Young Father, or are an empty nester; all are considered part of the Fraternus Brotherhood! Fraternus formation leans heavily on the Cardinal and Theological Virtues, Lives of the Saints, and is rooted in the Sacred Tradition found in the Catholic Church. Fraternus goes beyond simple catechesis, allowing us to accompany our young men by learning, growing, and praying with them over the years!
What Does it Look Like?
Save the Dates:
September 15- Fraternus Begins @ 630pm in Craig Willy Hall
October 10-11 Fall Excursion @ CYO Camp Rancho Framasa
October 13- Initiation Ceremony (families invited to join us)
March 16- Accolade Ceremony (families invited to join us)
When is it starting and what to expect?
Beginning September 15 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Fraternus men gather in our parish school entrance at 630pm. We compete (mostly dodgeball), we eat (home cooked meal), we grow (King's Message), we discuss (Squad Time), and we pray (Compline). Each night ends in our parish church to pray Night Prayer (Compline) with our Fidelis Sisters, led by our clergy. Beginning in 2026 we are asking parents to join us for Compline @ 8:15. Parents are the spiritual leaders of their family, and we see this as a beautiful opportunity to support the prayer lives of our parish families.

We need good and holy men helping us lead this effort. Prayer Warriors- Cooking Teams- Clean Up Crews- Squad Leaders (co-leading small group discussion with other Fraternus brothers)- we need your help! For weekly volunteers Fraternus fees are covered by the parish, as a small appreciation for the dedication commitment to Fraternus.
