Application Process for New Students

The Fall Open House in November kicks off the application process for the following school year. Tours are given and the online application link for the following year is made available at that time.

New Student Application Process
The 2026-27 New Student Application will be available online starting the morning of our Fall Open House on Thursday, November 13, 2025. We invite you to join our open house! More details can be found here.
Your student's application is considered complete when the school receives all of the following items. The application process must also be completed for your student to be added to the waitlist.
- Completed 26-27 Online Application. This application is from the Diocese of Lafayette. An account will need to be created to complete the application if you have not done so in the past.
- Non-Refundable Application FAMILY fee of $300
- Submitted Documents:
- Copy of Student's Birth Certificate
- Copy of Student's Baptismal Certificate, if applicable
- Parish Membership Letter from non-SLDM Catholic parish, if applicable (for tuition rate distinction - only required for families with students in grades K-8)
If we have more applications that spots available in a given class, the Administration will follow the admissions criteria process listed on page 7 of the family handbook.
Notification of your child’s enrollment status will occur on January 30, 2026. Applications received after January 30th will be based on availability and you will be contacted within a week after receipt.
