Welcome to our Fidelis Chapter Page!
We, at St. Louis De Montfort, are excited to have you join us at Fidelis. Rally together with women from the parish as we grow in prayer, virtue, and Christian sisterhood, while fostering Catholic culture in our parish and beyond.
Registration has two steps: SLDM Parish + Fidelis National
Fidelis is more than a Youth Ministry Program. Fidelis is focused on providing a Sisterhood of faithful, devoted, Catholic women of all ages who strive to live an authentic Catholic Femininity. Fidelis is a Sisterhood for all. Whether you start at the very beginning in 6th grade, joining in High School, coming back in College or early in your career, are a Young Mother, or are an empty nester; all are considered part of the Fidelis Sisterhood! Fidelis formation leans heavily on the practice of the Cardinal and Theological Virtues, witness of the Lives of the Saints, and is rooted in the Sacred Tradition founded in the Catholic Church. Content for each Fidelis gathering is found in the Fidelis Book, so bring it with you each Tuesday. Fidelis goes beyond simple catechesis, allowing us to accompany our young women through learning, growing, and praying with them over the years! What Does it Look Like?
When is it Starting? Beginning September 15 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Fidelis women gather in Craig Willy Hall at 630pm. Each week we foster community and friendship over a home cooked meal and fun ice breakers, games or group activities (running charades and double dutch to name a couple favorites). We grow our faith hearing the weekly King's Message and discussing in our family groups. We deepen our love of God as we join Fraternus in the church to pray Night Prayer (Compline), led by our clergy. Beginning in 2026 we are asking parents to join us for Compline @ 8:15. Parents are the spiritual leaders of their family, and we see this as a beautiful opportunity to support the prayer lives of our parish families. How do I Register? Registration is completed by filling out the SLDM parish registration (open now) and by going to Fidelis National's website to fill out the Fidelis National Registration (which will open Aug. 1).You can register by clicking on the registration buttons on the top of this page. I'm Interested; How can I Get Involved? We need good and holy women helping us lead this effort. Prayer Warriors- Cooking Teams- Clean Up Crews- Small Group Leaders- we need your help! For weekly volunteers Fidelis fees are covered by the parish, as a small appreciation for the dedication and commitment to Fidelis.
- Fidelis is for women. It was created by women, led by women, and offered for young women (6th-12th grades) in our parish. This Christian sisterhood allows us delve deeper in the unique aspects of our identity as beloved daughters of Jesus Christ!
- With the target age-range of Youth being between 6th-12th grade, Jr. High and High School Ministries will be combining our efforts together! This allows many wonderful experiences for both the younger women to have role models to look up to in their high school Sisters, as well as enables the older Sisters to take on leadership and responsibility for even further growth!
- We meet on TUESDAYS @ 6:30PM-8:30PM. This allows us to return Sunday's to the family, as they honor the Sabbath. Tuesday gatherings help us refocus on the Lord, in the midst of all that life throws at us during the weekly grind. It also allows for more cadence because a family's week to week schedule is more consistent and mapped out compared to a weekend meeting time.
- Fidelis membership includes our Fidelis book, ongoing formation, promotion, events, and more! It also opens the door for the summer conference: Inspire. Providing this high octane ministry comes with a cost. Fidelis National charges $50 + SLDM Parish Cost $50 = $100 Total Cost. Cost should never be a impediment, so please contact us if you need financial support.
