If you were the patron saint of something, what would it be?

Who is your favorite saint, and why?  
I have numerous favorite Saints including St. Pope John Paul II the Great, St. Isaac Jogues, and St. Gemma of Galgani.  Each of these Saints have an incredible witness of overcoming difficulties.  JP II lived through WWII and came out an incredible mystic, priest for the youth and then a witness to the world of God's love.  St. Isaac Jogues survived being captured by the Iroquois, running gauntlets, being tortured and mutilated only to beg his Bishop to send him back to America when he escaped to continue to convert the indians.  St. Gemma died at the age of 24 after being orphaned and mistreated by extended family.  She had the stigmata and begged to suffer for others so they could be saved by God's grace.  

What do you love about working for the Church/SLDM?  
I love accompanying people one on one in their Faith journey.  I am so blessed to be able to teach OCIA classes and witness God's work in the lives of so many.  God reveals himself on a daily basis through the people of this parish. I am truly humbled that God allows me to walk with them and be a small part of their faith journey.
